The Vacuum Society of the Philippines will hold its 5th General Assembly on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 1:00 PM (PHT) via Zoom Meeting. 

The executives of the VSP Board of Trustees will give the organization's financial status and the President's Report.  In conjunction with the assembly, the VSP will present three talks: 

1. The Current State of Plasma Research in the Philippines, by Ms. Kathrina Taaca (VSP President), 

2. Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer by Dr. Magdaleno R. Vasquez, Jr. (Director, UPD-TTBDO), and 

3. Vacuum Applications in Semiconductor Manufacturing (Semiconductor & Electronics Industries in the Philippines, Foundation Inc. (SEIPI)) 

The VSP will also host an event honoring Dr. Henry Ramos, the pioneer of plasma physics research in the Philippines.
